MaryAnn Bruzek, née Mravec

MaryAnn Bruzek, of Brooklyn, Ohio, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2026, at the age of 93.

She was the loving mother of Diane M. Tache (Timothy), Debra A. Gall (Steven), and Thomas J. Bruzek (Anita). She was the dear grandmother of Nicole Sefcik, Robert Tache, Sara Robertson (Thomas), Danielle Otter (Jamie), Ian Bruzek (Hanna), Kyle Bruzek, and Kelsey Bruzek; and the dear great-grandmother of Wyatt and Gabriel Tache, and Carter and Dean Robertson. She was the sister of the late Vince Mravec, Jr., and the former wife of the late Leonard J. Bruzek. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vincent Sr. and Anne Mravec.

MaryAnn was a woman of profound faith and a proud graduate of St. Procop High School, where she formed cherished friendships that remained an important part of her life throughout the years.

She began her career as a bank teller at Brooklyn Savings and Loan and later retired as the assistant manager at Dollar Bank.

MaryAnn was a devoted fan of Cleveland sports. Above all, she treasured her role as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She rarely missed any of her family’s extracurricular activities and took great pride in being there to support them.

Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bridget of Kildare Parish, 5620 Hauserman Road, Parma Friday, September 25, 2026 at 10 a.m. Please meet at church. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Brook Park, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Brooklyn Animal Shelter or The Alzheimer’s Association.
