MATTHIAS J. ZOLNAY, age 84, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2015. He was born in Kunszentmrton, Hungary to Dr. Matthias and Maria Legrady Zolnay. Beloved husband of Carmen L. Zolnay (nee Greve) for 58 years; devoted father of Isabel Benny (Joseph), Matthias E. and Theresa Adams (Ralph); loving grandfather "Tata" of Joseph, Stephen and Michael Benny and Eric and Rachel Adams; cherished brother of Dr. Stephen Zolnay (deceased), Theresa Abahazy and Dr. Andrew Zolnay. Also survived by nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Matt was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army, tank division. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to American Hungarian Friends of Scouting, P.O. Box 6783, Cleveland, OH 44101. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony of Padua Church (State Rd.), Friday, February 13, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. Interment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Friends received at RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), THURSDAY 6-8 P.M.
