Maxine E. Gerwig

MAXINE E. GERWIG (nee Ruper), age 75; wife of Clarence H. Gerwig, Jr.; loving mother of Maxine Matovic and Kelly Waite (Kurt); beloved grandmother of Jenna Luiere; daughter of the late Anthony and Martha Rupar; sister of Jean (deceased), Ken (deceased) (Rita), John (Barbara) and Bill (Betsy) Ruper; beloved aunt and friend of many. Maxine was a retired Educator for the Cleveland Metropolitan School District and an avid golfer.  She will be missed by many.  Mass of Christian Burial at St. Thomas More Church, 4170 N. Amber Dr., Brooklyn, Friday, May 26, 2017 at 10 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.  Friends received at RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), THURSDAY 1-4 AND 6-8 P.M.
