MICHAEL J. ASTOR (Aftoora), age 92; beloved son of the late Joseph and Anna Aftoora; loving brother of Patrick Edward Aftoora (Jeannette) and the late Mary Kotoch (Joseph), Louise Shalhoub (Fred), Eleanor Brody and Josephine Courey (Fr. Michael); loving uncle and great-uncle of many. Mike was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army during WWII and a Lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.  Contributions may be made to St. Elias Church, 8023 Memphis Ave., Brooklyn, OH 44144.  Service at St. Elias Church, Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at 11 a.m. Final resting place Holy Cross Cemetery.  Friends received at RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), TUESDAY 4-8 P.M. with a Trisagion service at 7 p.m.
