MICHAEL K. McCARTHY age 66, passed away peacefully at his home after a long illness on Friday Oct. 16, 2015. Beloved son of John and Jocelyn McCarthy (both deceased); cherished husband of Hildegarde (nee Wochenko) (formerly Jack); loving father of Michael McCarthy Jr. (Julie), Sarah McCarthy, Casey McCracken, Yvette Molina, Tanya Schell (Ben), Renee Krocek, Crystal Fry (Kyle) and Megan Mabrouk (Sherief); dear grandfather of Zachary, Kathleen and Brenna McCarthy, Lowell Sanders, Connor, Camryn and James McCracken, Allison, Tessa and Maxamillion Schell, Addison and Savannah Fry, and Penelope Mabrouk; brother of Sheila Gunter (deceased), John McCarthy III, Susan Green (Tom) and Patrick McCarthy; uncle of many. Michael was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran, 101st. Airborne Division, Disabled American Veteran, and a member of VFW Post 3445. Because of Michael's strong Irish heritage it is his request everyone wear something green. Memorial Service at the Funeral Home Saturday Oct. 24 at 2 p.m. Inurnment Monday , Oct. 26 at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd. Seville, at 2:30 p.m. (Please meet at the front gate). Friends received at RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.) SATURDAY Oct. 24, 2015, 1-2 PM
