MICHAEL D. MLECIK, age 75, retired Chief, Parma Heights Police Department, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2024.  Beloved husband of Sharon (nee Kaminski) for 53 years; loving father of Sharon and the late Michael Robert; dearest grandfather of Hope and Chaela; mentor to Eric Port; son of the late Stephen and Barbara; brother of Steven Mlecik and Barbara Conroy; uncle and friend of many; protector of all. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Help a Hero , to help bring a K9 to the Parma Heights Police Department. Services at the funeral home Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. Interment All Saints Cemetery.  Family and friends received at THE RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD.
