Michael G. Pitts

MICHAEL G. PITTS, age 79, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2025.  Loving husband of Karen (nee Dennis) for 59 years; beloved father of Margaret Staverman (Michael), Kristine Pitts (fiancé Bryon Ellis) and Michael G. Pitts, Jr. (Christine); cherished grandfather of Michael Wagner, Steven Wagner, Amanda Stemm (Chris), Jacob Pitts, Michaela Oyola and Keegan Pitts; great-grandfather of Miley Stemm and Paisley Stemm; son of the late Alice Pitts; brother of the late Martin Pitts; cousin, uncle and dear friend of many. Mike was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran. He had a love for sports, playing basketball, football, bowling and his beloved favorite golf, where he has self-proclaimed pro golfer with his best handicap of 8. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital www.stjude.org. A graveside service, with Military Honors, will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at 2:15 p.m. Please meet at the main entrance.
