Nabil Youssef Haikal

NABIL YOUSSEF HAIKAL, age 61; passed away suddenly on June 23, 2023. Beloved husband of Lidvine (nee Succar) for 29 years, devoted father of Lydine, Firas and Tony. Cherished brother of Tony (Mirelle), John (Hiam), Samir (Kim), Pierre (Nadine), Michel and Paul (Zaneta). Nabil was born in Kfarabida, Lebanon and enjoyed many beautiful years with his family, watching his children flourish. His evenings were spent with family and friends, or on his balcony overlooking the sunset on the Mediterranean. With the hopes of giving his children more opportunities, Nabil immigrated to Cleveland with his family in 2018. Within a short period of relocating, Nabil and his family established a loving community, in part due to his involvement at Saint Maron’s Church. Nabil’s hopes for a better future for his family came to fruition; they achieved the American Dream through their unparalleled work ethic. Nabil and his family created a beautiful home, where they frequently hosted family and friends. As in Lebanon, Nabil enjoyed spending time outside tending to his garden. Nabil’s courage, gentleness, and generosity live on through his family, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Contributions may be made according to the family wishes. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Maron Church, 1245 Carnegie Ave., Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at 11 a.m. Please meet at church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends and family received at THE RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.) MONDAY, June 26, 2023 from 4-8 p.m. Prayers of Incense at 7 p.m.
