NANCY J. COSENTINO (nee Privitera), age 87. Cherished wife of Leonard for 52 years; loving mother of Mary Cosentino Kronik (Jason Herig) and Chuck Cosentino; beloved Grandma of Ally Kronik, Tyler Cosentino, Charlie Cosentino and Kylie Kronik; daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (nee Lazzara) Privitera; adored sister of Josephine Somrak (Joe, deceased), Angela Haverdill (deceased), Angelo Privitera (Karen) (both deceased), Sam Privitera (Virginia) (both deceased), Mary Ann Zielinski (Edward), Jeanette Mamone (Domenick, deceased) and Christina Gasparro (John); dear aunt of 17; great-aunt of 27.
Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family, on Monday, May 15, 2023.
Loving, kind, compassionate, selfless, generous, strong, fiercely loyal and feisty are a few words used to describe Nancy. She and Len adored being Grandparents; their grandchildren were their greatest joy.
Nancy was an excellent cook and a top priority was always making sure her family ate, and ate well. Weekly pasta dinners with enough leftover sauce to “feed an army” was her specialty.
Nancy had great faith and was at peace knowing her time on earth was limited; she expressed greatest concern for her grandchildren and leaving them behind was her pain and heartache.
Her love, guidance, fearlessness and life lessons she taught will forever live on through her children, grandchildren and her future generations to come.
