NELLO A. CERNOIA, age 88; beloved husband of Rose (nee Shandik) for 64 years; loving father of Arthur (Toni), Mark (Mary Beth) and Nello “Ian” (Karen); cherished grandfather of Emily Barkley (Brett), Erica, Julia and Annie Engel (Josh); great-grandfather of three; son of the late Arthur and Anita (nee Bertuzzi); brother of the late Viola Graber and Leanna Maclaclan; beloved cousin and friend of many. Nello was a WWII U.S. Army Veteran, a graduate of the Ohio State University, a life member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and a member of the Italian American War Veterans. Service at the Funeral Home, Friday, February 5 at 11 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends received at RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), THURSDAY 2-4 AND 6-8 P.M.
