Nicholas Barna

NICHOLAS BARNA, age 91, passed away on March 24, 2017; dear father of James Barna (Kellie), David Barna (Christine) and Heidi Barna-Kauffmann; loving grandfather of Josilyn, Michael, Ashleigh and Chelsea Barna, Steven and Samantha Kauffmann; former husband of Sandra Barna (nee Hornyak). Nick was preceded in death by his parents, John and Eva and his nine siblings, a graduate of Lincoln High School, a WW II U.S. Navy Veteran, owner of the Innkeeper Tavern, retired Lieutenant of Cleveland Fire Department, Cleveland Police radio and loved by many Ukrainian friends. Graveside service at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd., Rittman, Thursday, April 6 at 1:30 p.m. A celebration of Nicky’s life will be held at Lucky T’s Pub, 11717 Snow Rd., Parma, Thursday, April 6 from 4-8 p.m.
