NORA MALOOF (nee Macron) age 93; beloved wife of George for 71 years; devoted mother of William Hycal Maloof (Angela), Virginia Marie Cascarilla (Ralph), Theresa Julia Kratus, Faye Judith Maloof, and Kimberly Grace Haikal (Samir); loving grandmother of Heather Donovan, Bradley Maloof, Charles Cascarilla, Patrick Kratus, Jared Maloof, Hilarie Hionis, Dr. Elizabeth van der Oord, Kathleen Small, Jennifer Wamelink, Grace Cascarilla, Kelly Kratus, Laura Haikal, Mary Nora Wolf, Annelise Haikal, William Wolf, Matthew Haikal (deceased), Sophia Maloof, Marie Haikal, and Simon Maloof; great grandmother of 21; daughter of the late Abraham and Sophia Macron; sister of the late Dolores Anter (Edward); beloved aunt of Julie Anter Blazevic and many other nieces and nephews; lovingly cared for by Lola Lopez and Janina Gozdek; Nora was born on the feast of the Assumption and passed away peacefully on the vigil of the Pentecost. Nora and her husband George are founders of ALSAC (St Jude Children’s Research Hospital), member of the Parents Council of St. Mary’s College Notre Dame Indiana, St. Elias Ladies Guild and the Lebanese Syrian American Junior League. The family suggests contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, St Elias Church or Hospice of the Western Reserve. Funeral Liturgy at St. Elias Church 8023 Memphis Ave. Thursday June 8, 2017 at 10:30 am. (please meet at church). Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
