PALMIRA "PAM" MALETIC (nee Piastrelli), age 83, of Parma, passed away on January 15, 2015; beloved wife of Stanley S. Maletic for 63 years, mother of Stan, Ann Marie (husband John Ruoff, son Jerimy and wife Julie, granddaughters Chinah and Delilah), Tom (wife Lisa, daughter Emily and husband Dan, son Mark), Mike (wife Julie, sons Steven and JT), and Paul (wife Laura, son Mitch, daughter Brooke). She was the daughter of the late Ausilio J. and Anna Annunziata Piastrelli "Nonna" and preceded in death by her brother Mario R. Piastrelli and sister Delia M. (Piastrelli) Kovach. Her nieces and nephews include: Nancy, Pam, Chuck, Laura, Greg, Deborah, Joe and many great-nieces and great-nephews. She was a member of Holy Family and volunteered with the schools, Girl Scouts and with Christ Child Society. An avid hockey-mom, she prayed many rosaries during contentious games in the Great Lakes area and as far as Vancouver, Canada. Pam enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and was known for her ability to meet people far and wide and end up being lifelong friends with them. She especially enjoyed playing pinochle, entertaining and family camping at Camp Christopher in Bath, Ohio. Pam was known for her extraordinary memory, especially of family history, and Parma and environs who's who. During her high school years at Holy Name, she wrote a column called "Pam's Corner".
