PAMELA LEE BONNETT (nee Raynak) passed away on July 25, 2026 at the age of 72 after a courageous 5-year battle with pancreatic cancer. Pam was born on May 24, 1954, in Cleveland, OH to Dorothy Raynak (Foisel) and Richard Raynak. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Sue Branca. Pam is survived by her devoted husband of 49 years, Bob, who served as her main caregiver during her final months. Pam is also survived by her daughter Corin Fogle (Tom), son Austin Bonnett, granddaughter Elise Fogle and two brothers Rick Raynak (Linda) and John Raynak.

Pam’s 50-year nursing career touched many lives. First as a Registered Nurse after graduating from the Lutheran Medical Center School of Nursing in 1976 and then sharing her knowledge teaching at the University of Akron, School of Nursing. Pam was active in many professional and community organizations. She was a Girl Scout leader, 4-H advisor, Sunday School teacher and held leadership positions in the PTA at the local and state level. A highlight of her career was when she received her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Case Western Reserve University. Pam was proud of her Transylvanian Saxon heritage and enjoyed many family activities with the Alliance of Transylvanian Saxons.

The family will host a celebration of Pam’s life at THE RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), SATURDAY AUGUST 8, 2026 from 2-4 p.m. with a Florence Nightingale Tribute for Pam at 4 p.m., followed by a prayer service.
