Patricia Fabrizi

Patricia Fabrizi (nee Patrick) passed away peacefully on March 16th at the age of 85. Patricia was born February 20, 1938, in Brookpark, Ohio to Alice & Melvin Patrick. She graduated from Berea High School, Class of 1956.

Patricia married the love of her life, Emilio Fabrizi Sr. on April 27th 1957. They established their home and raised their family in Valley City. Patricia worked for Fabrizi Trucking and Paving and was an active member of the community for many years, having been honored as Valley City’s “Person of the Year” in 1984.

Patricia enjoyed gardening, reading, and playing cards. She was dedicated to her faith and was actively involved at St. Martin of Tours Church preparing and serving church dinners for many years. She and Emilio spent winters in Naples, Florida in the company of family and friends.

Patricia was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. Her homemade gnocchi was the cornerstone of family celebrations for many years. She will be deeply missed by her family and many cherished friends.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband Emilio in 2006 and daughter Andrea (Todd) Princehorn in 2021.

Patricia is survived by her children, Lucia (David) Greene, Maria (Bryan) Fearer & Emilio (Tina) Fabrizi Jr; grandchildren, Melissa (Joe) Tarcea, Laura (Wes) Moloney, Christopher Greene, Katie Greene, Karli (Ryan) Buck, Briana (Zach) Princehorn, Brooke Fabrizi, Emilio Fabrizi III, Paige Fabrizi, Miranda (Kevin) Diamond, Arik Torres, and Frank Manross; great-grandchildren Madison Tarcea and Jake & Kora Diamond.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Martin of Tours Church, 1800 Station Rd., Valley City, Monday, March 20, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Martin of Tours Cemetery. Contributions may be made to St. Martin of Tours Building Fund. The family will receive friends at THE RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.) SUNDAY 2–7 P.M.
