PATRICK E. ELBERT; age 81; passed away peacefully after an extended battle with cancer on Monday, August 5, 2024. Beloved husband of Ann (nee Sykora) for 62 years; dear father of Patrick K. (deceased), Daniel P. (Vesna), Fr. Kevin P. and Erin A. (Troy Kunzen); dearest grandfather of Nicolette, Danny (Allissa), Carissa (Andrew), Alyssa, Zak (Andreea) and Isaac; great-grandfather of Dominic, Roan and Layla; son of the late Eugene and Brigid; brother of Kathleen Burke (Bill), Daniel (Bobby), Thomas (deceased) (Eileen), Dennis (Dee) and Eileen Doolan; like a father to Rich Ganofsky; uncle and friend of many. Pat enjoyed baseball, especially coaching his grandchildren and great-grandson Dominic. Mass of Christian Burial at St. John Bosco Church, 6480 Pearl Rd., Parma Heights, Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 10 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
