Peter Paul Maffo Jr.

PETER PAUL MAFFO JR., (Age 75) born March 30, 1942 in Cleveland, passed away on May 19, 2017 at the VA Cleveland Medical Center. Peter is lovingly remembered by his sons, Peter Ishimaru (Maffo), Patrick Maffo, and Danny Maffo; his sisters Patricia Maffo, Noreen Miller, and Josephine Maffo (sister-in-law); grandchildren Adam Kromi and Ashley Huthmacher, and Charlene Joyce (girlfriend). He was preceded in death by his parents Peter Paul Maffo Sr. and Dorothy Ida Maffo, brother Steve Maffo, and sisters Dixie Wolf (Maffo) and Dorothy Papa (Maffo). Peter retired from the US Navy as a Hospital Corpsman and served in Vietnam attached mainly to the United States Marine Corps (USMC) at Camp LeJeune. He then continued his career at the VA Medical Center in Canton as a medical technician. He enjoyed fishing, cooking for his buddies, and growing beautiful sunflowers. Pete’s family is so very thankful to all of those who loved and cared for him.
