RALPH “ED” WORKMAN, age 64; passed away peacefully on Friday, August 22, 2025 with his wife and daughter at his side. Beloved husband of Janet (nee Ruvolo); loving father of Amanda Craven (deceased) (Patrick), Cliff Workman (Jennifer), Crystal Haas (Steve) and Ava Workman (Chase Rieger); dearest grandfather of Michael, Andrew, Jonathan, Michelle, Patrick, Jr., MacKenzee, Danny, Faith, Zoey, Ziggy and Harper; son of the late Norma Giese and Clifford Workman; brother of the late Lovey Leach; beloved uncle and great-uncle of many; a great mentor to many cousins, friends and colleagues; grandpops to Buddy and Boots.
Ed aka “Steady Eddy” was born in Cleveland, Ohio but also a native of Knoxville, Tennessee. His career in construction and carpentry would shine through his creativity and his artistic abilities. Ed was a simple and quiet man with a big heart for family, nature, animals, fishing and racing cars.
Ed was a U.S. Army Veteran, has a strong relationship with our Lord, as well as being a great teacher of no judgement and patience. He emphasized spreading love.
We will miss his comedian antics and loving soul that always made you feel at home.

A Memorial Service at Grace Church Montrose, 565 S. Cleveland Massillon Rd., Akron, Friday, August 29, 2025 at 6 p.m. with a reception to follow.
