RAUL VEGA, SR., age 88; beloved husband of the late Minerva Fuentes (nee Perez); loving father of Raul “Pete” Vega, Jr.; step-father of Angel Fuentes (Maria), Darlene Singer, Silvia Fuentes, Robert Fuentes, Daniel Fuentes and Melissa Fuentes-Bruno (Jose Enrique Bruno); dearest grandfather of Natasha, Raul Vega, III, Joshua, Angelique, Kristen, Anthony, Cassandra, Richard, William, Olivia, Paige, Gabrielle, Daniel and Cecelia; great-grandfather of nine. Raul was a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran and the retired Executive Director of the Spanish American Committee. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick Church, 3602 Bridge Ave., Cleveland , (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH) Friday, May 6 at 10:00 a.m. Interment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Friends received at RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), THURSDAY 5-8 P.M.
