Raymond V. O'Leary

RAYMOND V. O’LEARY, age 90, of Strongsville, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2025.  Beloved husband of Nancy Sciria (nee Hlad); former husband of the late Beverly (nee Mullee); loving father of Kathleen Odorizzi (David), Sherry Munich-Nicklos (Joseph) and Kenneth O’Leary; step-father of Donald Sciria (Pok-Sun), Joseph Sciria (Melissa), Gina Baker (Scott) and Andrea Sciria (Don Poney); dearest grandfather of 13; great-grandfather of 15; son of the late Raymond and Elsie (nee Milkie); brother of the late Michael.  Ray was a proud graduate of St. Ignatius High School, attended John Carroll University, was a U.S. Army Veteran, a retired Cleveland Police Officer and Plain Dealer employee.  He was member of the VFW, American Legion, West Side Irish and the Retired Irish Police. Ray was loved and will be greatly missed. Mass of Christian Burial at St. John Neumann Church, 16271 Pearl Rd., Strongsville, Thursday, June 5, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.  Family and friends received at THE RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), WEDNESDAY, JUNE 4, 2025 from 4-8 p.m.
