IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Rev. Ramdat Sarran
June 7, 1955 – October 15, 2026
Rev. Ramdat Sarran, age 71, of Cleveland, Ohio, entered into eternal rest on October 15, 2026. Born on June 7, 1955, at Georgetown Hospital in Georgetown, Guyana, he lived a life devoted to God, his family, and the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He attended Muslim Trust College and later Haurunie Bible College, where he prepared for his calling to pastoral ministry.
Rev. Sarran was the beloved husband of the late Lobby Sarran, with whom he shared 45 years of marriage. Their union was blessed with a loving family that remains a testament to their years of love, commitment, and devotion.
He was a devoted and loving father to Ronald (Tia), Deborah Sarran Cook (James), and Zipporah Sarran. His heart overflowed with love for his seven cherished grandchildren: Miriam and Samuel, children of Ronald; Josiah, Noah, and Leah, children of Deborah; and Elizabeth and Hannah, children of Zipporah. His family was a precious gift, and his love, wisdom, and spiritual guidance will continue to live on through the generations.
Rev. Sarran was the son of the late Samuel Mangal and Hardai Singh. He was a beloved brother to Bena, Pami, Indera, Seeta, Johnny, and Sandy. He was also a loving uncle to Troy, Merissa, the late Imran Khan, Alicia, Melissa, Alvin, Keisha, and Moriah. Beyond his immediate family, he was a dear cousin and cherished friend to many whose lives were touched by his kindness, faith, and generosity.
A Life Dedicated to the Gospel
Rev. Ramdat Sarran was a devoted missionary to the globe, a faithful church pastor, and the founder of the Global Revival Movement. His life was marked by an unwavering commitment to spreading the Word of God and advancing revival throughout the nations. With a heart for souls and a passion for the Gospel, he dedicated himself to ministry, reaching people across communities and borders with the message of salvation, hope, and the transforming power of Jesus Christ.
His calling was more than a profession; it was a lifelong commitment to serving God and His people. Through his missionary work, pastoral leadership, and the establishment of the Global Revival Movement, Rev. Sarran sought to inspire believers, strengthen the Church, and encourage a deeper devotion to the Lord.
“And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” — Matthew 24:14 (KJV)
This scripture embodied the vision and purpose that guided his life. He believed in the importance of sharing the Gospel with the world and remained committed to that mission throughout his years of service.
A Lasting Legacy of Faith
Rev. Sarran leaves behind a legacy of faith, service, perseverance, and love. His life was a testimony to his devotion to God and his desire to see lives transformed through the power of the Gospel. Though his earthly journey has ended, the seeds he planted through his ministry, the lives he touched, and the faith he shared will continue to bear fruit.
He will be profoundly missed by his children, grandchildren, siblings, extended family, church family, fellow ministers, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His presence will be missed, but his example of faithful service and his enduring love for God will remain in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
We give thanks to God for the life of Rev. Ramdat Sarran and for the many ways he served, loved, and inspired others. May his legacy continue through his family, his ministry, and all those who carry forward the vision of the Global Revival Movement.
