Richard G Birk

RICHARD G. BIRK, age 93; loving husband of the late Virginia J.; father of two great sons, Richard J. Birk (Victoria) and the late Patrick E. Birk (Beth); grandfather to the late Michael Birk, Molly Landek, Anna Birk, Jennifer Birk and Christopher Birk; great-grandfather of Ellie, Finnegan and Holden Landek. He was born in Toledo, Ohio, the son of the late Lena and John Birk. He served in the U.S. Navy in World War II as a night fighter pilot. After being discharged, he returned home and met and married his true love, Virginia. For many years, he operated his own business as a manufacturer’s representative.
