RICHARD M. BLAIR and EILEEN C. BLAIR (nee Schraufl), both 92, beloved husband and wife and best friends for 73 years, went home to our Lord on May 26 and May 28, 2025 respectively. Proud parents of Nancy McCullough (Ronald), Patricia Meme (Philip), Thomas Blair (deceased), Judith Blair (Peg) and Susan Wagner (Thomas); loving grandparents of Erin McCullough, Megan Kim, Kevin Meme (Erica), Ryan McCullough (Ashley) and Kaitlin Meme (Maura); great-grandparents of Madeleine McCullough, Bella, Jack and Tessa Salyards, Jonathan, Sarah and Brendan Meme, Brooklyn, Skylar, Lilly (deceased) and Jameson McCullough and Peter McNamee. Survived by many nieces, nephews, among them godchildren Thomas Notarianni, Sharon Popelmayer and Robert Blair. Richard graduated from St. Ignatius in 1950 with perfect attendance. He married Eileen in February of 1952. He was a member of Asbestos Insulation Workers Local 3 and worked for Clark Asbestos for 43 years. He was the founder and owner of R. Blair Tax service from 1968-2019. Richard was a lifelong member of St. Charles Borromeo Church where he went to school, was an adult Mass server, and Eucharistic minister. He was happiest when spending time with family and hosting (with mom) The Annual Olympic Day.
