RICHARD D. FREDECKER age 83, beloved husband of the late Catherine R. (nee Makoid) for 56 years, loving father of Richard Jr.,Linda Jackson (Jim), David (Jeannie), and Karen Bearns (Jim), devoted grandfather of Patrick Monnolly, Bethany Fredecker, Kelli Thiel (Austin), Christopher and Nicholas Bearns, Cameron and Alex Fredecker, Joshua, Brianna and Brooke Jackson, great grandfather of Kollin, and Reagan Monnolly and Ainsley Thiel, son of the late Herbert and Dorothy, loving companion of Carole King. Dick entered into eternal life on Saturday Oct. 25, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. He was a U.S. Navy Korean War Veteran serving as a Corpsman in the 1st Marine Division. Dick was the owner along with his partner Larry Leggett of Modern Builders Supply and retired in 1991. He was a board member at Mount Alverna Village and a life long suffering Cleveland Browns and Indians fan. The family wishes to thank Dr. Tony Perez, Dr. Michael Brogan and the caring staff of the Cleveland Clinic. The family suggests contributions to Mount Alverna Village 6765 State Rd. Parma Oh. 44134. Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family Church 7367 York Rd., Parma Thursday Oct. 30 at 10 a.m. Interment Brooklyn Hts. Cemetery. Friends received at RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.)
