ROBERT J. BLATNICA, age 93; beloved husband of Jeanette (nee Coletta) for 68 years; loving father of Glenn (Irene), Lori Catanzarite (Michael), Janet Pfeil (William), and Robert; Dearest grandfather of Steven (Erin), Emily Mihalek (Mark), Anthony Catanzarite (Andrea), Nick Catanzarite (Lauren), Dan Catanzarite (Erika), Dominic Catanzarite, Christopher Kollar (Elaine), David Kollar, April Kollar, and Jamie Kollar; great grandfather of 15; son of the late Frank and Anna. Robert was a US Army WWII Veteran and was a 33 year policeman for the Middleburg Hts Police Department and retired as Police Chief in 1989. He will be greatly missed. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bartholomew Church, 14865 Bagley Rd., Middleburg Hts, Thursday October 25, 2018 at 10 a.m. Interment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
