ROBERT F. HUGHES, M.D., age 95; beloved husband of the late Theresa (nee McGowan) for 52 years; loving father of Mary Colleen Milne (Ed), Patricia Krakowiak (Mark), Robert, Jr. (Deana), Dan (Emily), Lawrence, M.D. (Kelly) and Kathleen Richard (Bob); awesome grandfather of Tiffany, Christopher (Christina), Brian, Brittany and Andrew Milne, Mark, Megan (Nick), Kevin and Alison Krakowiak, Keenan, Cooper and Kendall Hughes, Claire, Henry, Alex and George Hughes, Elizabeth and Margaret Richard; great-grandfather of Arthur Milne; son of the late Patrick and Veronica (nee Finn); brother of Eleanor Hughes, Margaret Goodall and the late Patrick Hughes, Florence O’Neill, Rosemary Frank and Eugene Hughes. Dr. Hughes graduated from the University College Cork, Ireland, School of Medicine. He was a devoted obstetrician in the Cleveland area for over 35 years, and a proud U.S. Navy WWII Veteran. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 5891 Ridge Rd., Parma, Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 10 a.m. Please meet at church. Private interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
