Robert Glen Hurd

Robert Glen Hurd was born on May 2, 1960, in Akron, Ohio. He passed away peacefully, in his home leaving behind cherished memories for those who knew him.

Robert was a devoted father to his three sons and found great joy in spending time with his family. His love for them was evident in the moments they shared together. He was a dedicated and proud member of the Bakers’ Union Local No. 19 since 1985.

He is survived by his three sons Robert (Jennifer), Ryan (Katlyn), and Casey; two sisters Sherry and Darla; and two grandchildren Garrison, and Florence.

Beyond his family, Robert had a passion for golf, bowling, reading, music, and was a lifelong Cleveland sports fan. Whether on the green or at the lanes, he enjoyed these activities that brought him both relaxation and camaraderie. His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his memory bring comfort to those who loved him.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 3rd, 2025 at 7:00pm at Ripepi Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 4:00pm-7:00pm at the funeral home.
