Bob passed away peacefully on September 25, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Bob was born in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Joseph & Irene (Shirey).

Affectionately known to his family as “Pooba”, Bob was a loving husband, father, proud grandfather of nine, great-grandfather of six, uncle and lifelong friend to many.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Elaine (nee Jacubec), his four daughters Vickie Neale (Dave), Teresa Haendiges (Martin), Wendy Andrew (Brad) and Dionne Isabella (Tim). Devoted grandpa to Mollie (Steve), Veronica (Rudy), David (Nicole), Jackie (Jimmy), Angela (Drew), Forrest (Rachel), Olivia, Marissa and Grace. Great-grandfather to Rudy, Jack, Laine, Lyla, Audrey and Andrew. Preceded in death by brother Richard (Carol).

In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to St. Albert the Great (Building Faith Fund), 6667 Wallings Rd. North Royalton, Ohio 44133 or the Tunnels To Towers Foundation at www.t2t.org .

Family and friends may gather Sunday, September 29, 2024 from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. at Ripepi Funeral home, 5762 Pearl Road, Parma, Ohio 44129.

Mass of Christian Burial at St. Albert the Great Church, Monday, September 30, 2024, at 10 a.m. Please meet at Church.

Final resting place Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
