Robert E. Wingert

ROBERT “BOB” E. WINGERT passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at age 55.  Beloved husband of Lisa (nee Stewart) for 25 years; loving father of Ashley and Jake; devoted grandfather of Josh, Carly and Ryan; dearest son of Margaret Connor (nee Lukacs); step-son of Robert Connor; dear brother of Erika Fedele (nee Wingert), Kurt Wingert, Jonathan Presti and Robert Gallagher (Danielle, nee Suloff); uncle of Curtis and Charlie Varga, Benjamin and Anthony Fedele and Rob Gallagher; nephew of Steve and Charlotte Banhidy; cousin of Jim Banhidy (Annie) and Sue Ploscik; step-brother of Patrick Connor, Bo Connor, Bridget Sidoti and Maura Larson.  Preceded in death by his father Eric R. Wingert and cousin Steve Banhidy (Heather).  Bob was a loving friend of many.  Friends and family hope that Bob spends his days enjoying being outside, brewing beer, playing his guitar, listening to music, telling terrible jokes and throwing out movie quotes.  A celebration of Bob’s life will be held at RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), SATURDAY, MARCH 6, 2021 FROM 1-3 P.M. Social distancing and masks required.
