ROGER D. PULS, Age 77; loving husband of his “Darlin” Marilou (nee Williams); loving father of Lori White (Mike), Jeffrey Puls (deceased), David Puls, Eileen Panza, Jeanine Billings (Brian) and Brian Bernhardt (Michelle); blessed with 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; son of the late Norman and Pearl; loving brother of Walter (Rae), Rich (Judie), Marty Krug (Ron), Jay (Deceased); brother-in-law to Mary Puls; dear uncle and friend of many. Roger was very mechanically inclined and enjoyed being in his workshop. He loved golfing and he and his wife belonged to St. Bernard Country club for over 20 years. He was also a very skilled Billiards player. He was a Renaissance man and one of a few people in the world that had a special talent in repairing, restoring and refinishing antique music boxes, player pianos, orchestrions, antique clocks and other antique mechanical and musical pieces. He was well renowned for his meticulous attention to detail and took on many restoration projects for various museums and private collectors from around the world. He was a member of the Musical Box Society International and Mechanical Music Box Society. He also started a successful home and piano moving company with his wife in 1983. He often did specialty moving of grand pianos and antique pieces for museums, music halls, collectors, etc. His talents knew no bounds, from making intricate parts for his restoration pieces, building his own furniture, building an addition on his home, to building an RV. He truly enjoyed helping family and friends and we were blessed with his love, kindness, support, generosity of his time and expertise in so many areas. He was our hero, our mentor and someone to look up to and admire for his incredible character, and selfless demeanor. He was very much loved.
