RONALD L. WALKER “RON”, age 70, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Sunday, November 3, 2019 following a brave battle with cancer. His greatest priority was always his family’s happiness, including his loving wife and best friend Antonette “Toni” (nee Zappitelli) of 48 blessed years. Very loving father of Diana (Eric) Radanovich, David Walker and Denise (Jared) Meisterics. Devoted grandpa of Zachary Kisel. Cherished papa of Ellasyn and Madasyn Meisterics. Son of the late William and Geraldine. Brother of the late Richard. Dearest brother-in-law of Sylvia Miller, Frank and Tony Zappitelli. Godfather, sponsor, uncle, nephew, cousin and kind-hearted friend of many. A proud US Navy veteran, Ron was born in Mercer and grew up in Erie, PA. He was a Produce Manager for K-Mart Foods, Stop-n-Shop, and Giant Eagle until his retirement. Ron will be missed and remembered by his family, relatives and a multitude of co-workers and friends who shopped in the stores. He enjoyed travelling and vacationing with family and friends, horseracing, casino, playing softball, watching all sports on TV and most of all travelling to his grandson’s hockey games as far as California and enjoying his granddaughter’s activities. We thank the Cleveland Clinic doctors, nurses and staff during his chemo treatments and the hospice team for their kind support. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Columbkille Catholic Church, 6740 Broadview Rd., Parma, Thursday, November 7, 2019 at 10 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Family will receive friends at RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), WEDNESDAY 4-8 P.M.
