Rose M. Becerra

ROSE M. BECERRA, age 94, passed away at her residence in Carmel, Indiana on August 29, 2021. Rose was a loving and dedicated mother to three children and wife to Hector Becerra. While living in Willowick, Ohio, she worked as a clerk at the Lake County Courthouse in Painesville. Rose and Hector later moved to Parma, Ohio. They were married for 70 years until Hector's death in 2019. Rose enjoyed singing, playing cards, reading mystery novels and playing bocce with friends. Rose is survived by her daughter Rose (Bob) Popovich, sons David (Nancy) Becerra and Michael (Sue) Becerra, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She is preceded in passing by sisters Jenny Strozewski, Mary Mesker and Grace Kalemba and brothers Tony, Jim, Joe, Sam and Ron Annotico. The family suggests contributions to Holy Family Church, 7367 York Rd., Parma, OH 44130 or to Merciful H.E.L.P Center, 1045 W. 146 St., Carmel, IN 46032.  A Memorial Mass will be held at Holy Family Church, Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at 10 a.m. Friends and family are invited to gather at RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL ROAD, (AT SNOW RD.), ON MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 6, 2021 FROM 2- 6 P.M.
