Rose Marie Dixon

ROSE MARIE “MARY” DIXON (nee Kovalenko), age 69, passed away peacefully March 19, 2024.  Beloved wife of the late Thomas “Ted” Dixon for 34 years; cherished mother and best friend of her son Ryan W. Dixon, MD; dear daughter of the late John and Veronica Kovalenko; loving sister of Christine Kovalenko, Sophie Kovalenko Hopkins (Dean), John Kovalenko, Jr. and Michael Kovalenko (Michele); aunt of Stephen Hopkins, Rev. Dr. Theodore Hopkins and many other nieces and nephews; grandma of the perfect puppy Lincoln.  Mary was a devoted wife and mother.  She was a woman of strong faith. She was deeply loving, generous and intelligent.  Mary was the best cook her son has ever known.  She loved music, movies, and all aspects of art and culture. Her sense of humor and wit will be missed by all who knew her.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Berea ARF www.bereaanimalrescue.com or the Parma Animal Shelter www.parmaanimalshelter.org. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
