Salvatore A. Gentile

SALVATORE A. GENTILE, age 89, passed away at home, peacefully and comfortably, surrounded by his family.  Beloved husband of the late Beverly Ann (nee Kurz); loving and devoted father of Glenn Gentile (Carol), Nicholas Gentile (Kathy), Janis Laufman (Myron), Joyce Rieth (Kevin) and Gail Wojnicz (Nick); dearest grandpa of Jennifer Layton (J.R.), Ryan Rieth (Laura), Kacey Gentile, Kyle Laufman, Craig Rieth (Melissa), Jesse Gentile (Stephanie), Brett Gentile, Gina Merlene (Anthony), Todd Gentile, Timothy Gentile (Hallie), April Ann Miller (Ryan) and Shawn Wojnicz; great-grandpa “Pool” and great-grandpa “G” of Grace, Jameson, Gavin, Kaiden, Isabella, Maverick, Bryce, Mia, Kinslee, Brayden, Arieona, Alaina, Liam and Baylor; son of the late Michele and Stella Gentile; brother of Domenica “Minnie” Cozza (Leo, deceased) and Michele “Benny” Gentile (Diane); beloved uncle and dear friend of many. Sam was the owner and president of Precision Screw & Bolt, Inc. for 25 years.  He was a devoted catholic and always helped everyone.  His infectious smile will live in our memory and hearts forever. He was loved and will be missed dearly.  Committal service at the St. Jude Mausoleum at Holy Cross Cemetery, 14609 Brookpark Rd., Brook Park, Friday, December 15, 2023 at 3:30 p.m.  Arrangements by Ripepi Funeral Home.
