Sam Fogliano

SAM FOGLIANO; age 94; beloved husband of the late Frances (nee DeCaro); loving father to four adoring daughters, Rosemary Canitia (husband Thomas, deceased), Frances Fogliano (Bob Szegedy), Annette Fogliano Charatian (Carnik) and Teresa Beba (Fred); dear grandpa to Annette Garsteck (Raymond), Thomas Canitia (Katie), Lisa Canitia (Kasandra), Adam Beba (Melissa), Freddie Beba (deceased), Sammy Beba, Bobby Szegedy (Ashley), Nicole Blasko (Justin) and Angela Charatian (Andre), and great-grandchildren, Ethan, Ryan, Braeden, Camren, Frank, Niko, Aliyah, Andre and Ayla; son of the late Salvatore and Maria (nee Posta); loving brother of the following deceased; Tony (wife Kathryn), Frances Culora (husband Isadore), Joseph Foliano (wife Madeline), Jennie Christopher (husband Arthur), Mary Fogliano and Rose Fogliano; devoted uncle, great-uncle, godfather, best friend to many and loved by all. Sam served his country during WWII, spent the first part of his career as an accountant for the Armour Meat Company, and served his community as a Cleveland Municipal Bailiff. Sam loved interacting with others, one of his favorites was working with his brother-in-law, Joe DeCaro, at the West Side Market. He was hard working, always supporting his family with two jobs…enjoyed parking cars at the Society National Bank Parking Lot. Sam retired and spent time with his companion, Barb Lutch. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Matthias Church, 1200 W. Sprague Rd, Parma, Friday, June 21, 2019 at 10 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends received at THE RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.) THURSDAY 3-7 P.M.
