Sandra E. Tier

Sandra E. Tier (nee Birth), age 80; devoted wife of the late Lenny; beloved mother of Deborah Corbin (Kelly) and Jeffrey Tier (Paula); proud grandmother of Joshua Miller, Joshua Millsap and Noah Tier; great-grandmother of Jared Brown, Jessica Brown, Jillian Brown, Willow Millsap, Grayson Weeks, Meadow Millsap and River Millsap; daughter of the late Clayton Birth and MaryAnn Yee (Charles); sister of Bonnie Jean Dobies (deceased) and Gail Osiek (deceased) (Mike); beloved Auntie Sandy of Douglas Dobies (Dakota); great-aunt of Ahauna Rose. Arrangements were handled by The Ripepi Funeral Home, Parma.

Sandy was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio where she met and married the love of her life, Lenny. They shared 49 years together until Lennie's death in 2013. They wanted to spend their 50th wedding anniversary in Hawaii but were not able to make that trip. She was an amazing mother and the type of friend that a friend would want to have. She was kind and loving but could be stubborn and headstrong. She was the strongest woman I have ever met and the glue that held our family together. She taught us all how to be better people.

Her family was her greatest treasure, and she would do anything she could to help and support us. She was closest to her son, Jeff, and enjoyed her morning coffee with him at her kitchen table. We all have beautiful memories of dinners at her house and extravagant holidays, as well as the laughter and the tears that we shed together throughout the years. Her loss has created a void in the lives of those that loved her that can never be filled.
