SEMAAN JERIES, Age 72, of Avon, born in Beirut, Lebanon, passed away on Saturday January 17, 2026. Beloved husband of Afaf Shakkour for 46 years; loving father of Miriam Rizk (Wisam), George Jeries (Diana) and Fadi Jeries (Gabie); dearest grandfather of Jad, Simon, Marc, Nicholas, Rita and Matthew; son of Jeries and Jalileh (both deceased); brother of Zarifeh Jarjour (deceased), Butros, Edward (deceased), Lodi Al-Youssef, Jane Al-Youssef, John, Joseph, Raymond and Souad Hawi; beloved uncle, great uncle and dear friend of many. Simon was a longtime member of St. Maron Maronite Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Maron Church, 1245 Carnegie Ave., Cleveland, Wednesday January 21, 2026 at 11 a.m. Interment Lakewood Park Cemetery. Family and friends received at the church, Wednesday from 10-11 a.m.
