SHARON L. FRATE (née George), age 78, beloved wife of the late Philip Frate; loving mother of Craig Salem and Brian Salem (Megan); devoted stepmother of Eric Frate and Andrea Frate, both of Florida; cherished grandmother of Taylor Salem, Nicholas Cirabisi, Michelle Salem, Adelyn Salem, Mathew Salem, and Ellianne Salem; dear sister of the late Joseph George; loving aunt to several nieces and nephews; and cherished cousin and friend to many.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, George George and Catherine (née Dissauer), as well as her faithful paw companion, Pepper, who brought her years of love and companionship.

Sharon found great joy in traveling with her husband, Philip, especially when their journeys took them to explore her family's heritage. She treasured every opportunity to visit her children and grandchildren and found peace tending to her beautiful garden, which was truly her happy place.

A wonderful cook, Sharon delighted in preparing meals for her family and friends, with a special love for traditional Lebanese foods. She expressed her love through her hospitality, generosity, and the meals she shared around her table.

She will be remembered for her unwavering love of family, her kind and generous heart, and the warmth she brought to everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Mass of Christian Burial at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 5891 Ridge Rd., Parma on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. Interment will immediately follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
