STANLEY "STAN" MALETIC , age 88, of Parma, passed away on March 29, 2017; beloved husband of Palmira “Pam” (nee Piastrelli) (deceased 1-15-2015) for 63 years; father of Stan (deceased 9-10-15), Ann Marie (husband John C. Ruoff, son Jerimy and family), Tom (wife Lisa, daughter Emily McGrath (Dan), son Mark), Mike (wife Julie, sons Steven and JT) and Paul (wife Laura, son Mitch (Sara), daughter Brooke). He was the son of the late Ljubomir Maletic and Anna (nee Marn) Kastellic. Cousin Andy Artel. His nieces and nephews include Nancy, Pam, Chuck, Laura, Greg, Deborah, Joe and many great-nieces, great-nephews and God-children. Stan worked at Monarch Engraving for the most of his four decades working. He was a Parma and Padua Hockey dad. He was a good friend to many, infinitely patient and caring and was someone everyone knew they could count on. His family and friends knew he could and would help them fix anything. Anything he turned his attention to would flourish. Interests and skills included: carpentry, electrician, plumber, builder, photo engraver, photographer, wood worker, clock maker and restorer, community organizer (hockey, gourmet picnics), landscaper, car mechanic and restorer, brick layer, barn restorer, roofer, educator, world traveler, dancer, musician. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to Friends of Camp Christopher, P.O. Box 13814, Fairlawn, OH 44334. Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family Church 7367 York Rd., Parma, Monday April 3 at 10 a.m. Final resting place Sunset Memorial Park.
