TIMOTHY P. HICKOK, age 55, of North Olmsted passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025. Beloved son of David (Janet) and the late Mary Ann (nee Wheeler); loving brother of Amy Lauria; uncle of Katelin Lauria and Nicholas Lauria (Abbey); dear nephew of Kate Altadonna (Joe) and the late James and Robert Wheeler; beloved cousin and dear friend of many. The minute Tim put a skate on the ice, he was hooked on hockey. He was an avid lifelong fan of the sport. He started with youth hockey, followed by high school, college, and post college adult hockey leagues. For many years, he served as a “play by play” announcer locally for the Cleveland Barons. Tim graduated from Euclid High School in 1988. With an interest in Culinary Arts, he attended Johnson & Wales University, in Providence, Rhode Island. Though Tim spent some years after college working in the restaurant industry, he found his calling later in life when he began working in sales. Most recently, he was an Inside Sales Specialist at Shiffler Equipment Sales, where he proudly excelled in his role. Over the past year, Tim had some health challenges. He was in the early stages of being placed on a kidney transplant waitlist. He had a boundless resilience, and a no quit attitude towards any challenge he faced. Tim fiercely loved his family and friends, and he will be dearly missed. Services will be announced.
