WANDA MARYNOWSKI (nee Eberhardt), age 96, passed away peacefully, among family, on Saturday, March 12, 2022 after a full and satisfying life. A survivor of strenuous World War II hardship in Poland, Wanda came to the United States with very little and started a new life educating children, teaching the Polish national dance, working various jobs and finding her way from Houston, Texas to Cleveland, Ohio with her brother. From there, our matriarch planted her roots and shaped a foundation of devoted faith, loyal family and heartfelt, homemade food. Preceded in death, she joins her parents Romuald and Katherine Eberhardt, her beloved siblings Stanley Eberhardt, Irene Pietrowski (George), Andrew Eberhardt (Julia) and John Eberhardt (Virginia) and reunites with her loyal and loving husband of 54 years, Paul Marynowski. Wanda is survived by a strong family tree, lead by her children, Mary Nusbaum (Kevin), Teresa Cole (William), Mike Marynowski and Joseph Marynowski (Lisa). Her legacy lives on through 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, multiple extended family members and friends who will forever value her traditions and carry her confidence. Pierogies will be pinched, light babka bread loaves will be baked, songs will be sung and waltzes will be danced.
