Wayne E. Huhak

WAYNE E. HUHAK, age 86; beloved husband of 49 years to Monica (nee Schultz); loving father of Robin Piazza, Diane Casey (deceased) and Heidi Sathre; devoted grandfather of Christian Sathre, Bobby Casey, Jr., Krystal Grounds (Tom) and Matthew Joseph; son of the late Nettie and Ernest Huhak; brother of James Huhak (Clara) and Larry Huhak. Wayne was an Analytical Engineer for over 50 years and worked at Hewlett Packard, SOHIO and BP America. He owned his own engineering company, Anatronics, and was a partner in Envantage.  He had a love for working on cars especially the restoration of classic cars pre 1950s. He stayed active playing and coaching softball for 20 years.  Wayne had many amazing friends in his life that he enjoyed spending time with. He loved his Garrettsville roots and his childhood while being raised on the family farm with his brothers. Wayne loved his wife and family very much, and we were so lucky to have him in our lives. We will miss him and love him forever. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mount Alverna Village, 6765 State Rd., Parma, OH 44134.  Service at the funeral home, Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 2:30 p.m.  Friends received at RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), SATURDAY, JANUARY 28 FROM 1-3 P.M.
