Wayne C. Motley

WAYNE C. MOTLEY, age 69, departed this life for his new Heavenly home on Sunday, November 10, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.  Beloved husband and best friend of Gail A. (nee Schmelhaus); loving son of James R. and Adella L. (nee Lorinc) (both deceased); loving brother of Debbie L. and Mark L.; beloved brother-in-law of Laurie L. and David A. Eadelis and Michael R. Schmelhaus (deceased); cherished uncle and Godfather of Meghan M. and Connor E. Eadelis; best cat daddy to Toby, Carson and Gilbert.  Wayne was a graduate of Rhodes High School, a proud U.S. Army Veteran and dedicated IT Security Engineer at Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority.  He was also an avid photographer, record collector, guitarist and model train enthusiast.  Wayne had a heart of gold and was a friend of many.  Donations in his memory can be made to Dr. Martin Luther Evangelical Lutheran Church, 4470 Ridge Rd., Brooklyn, OH 44144.  All services at Dr. Martin Luther Evangelical Lutheran Church, Monday, November 18, 2024 at 10 a.m.  Interment Sunset Memorial Park.  Family and friends will be received at THE RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), SUNDAY 2-6 P.M.
