WILLIAM J. ESKER, age 83; beloved husband of Anne (nee O’Neill); son of the late Paul and Hildegard; dearest brother of Bernard (Sue), Lawrence (deceased) (Mary), Angela Orr (Albert), Robert (deceased) (Kathleen), Bernice Lacy (Edwin) and Paul, Jr. (Arlene) (both deceased); beloved uncle and dear friend of many.  Billy, lovingly known as Uncle Bill, not only by his nieces and nephews but strangers alike, will always be remembered for his forever young attitude and his legendary story telling ability.  His life experiences made him an encyclopedia of knowledge.  Those that knew him loved him.  He was a proud U.S. Army Veteran and member IBEW Local 38.  He will forever be missed.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project www.woundedwarriorproject.org .  Services at the funeral home, Monday, February 8, 2021 at 11 a.m. Interment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.  Friends received at RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), SUNDAY 1-4 P.M. Social distancing and masks required.
