JAMES “BUTCH” CAPRETTA, aka “JIMMY THE BARBER”, age 79; father of Vincent, Victor (Darlene) and Patrice Adamonis (Scott); grandfather of Patrick, Natalie, Mackenzie, Sydney and Blake; son of the late Nicola and Florence (née Iacobucci); brother of Doris Pietrondi (Joseph) (both deceased), Betty Porrello (Raymond, deceased) and Nicola Capretta (Patricia). Uncle to Joe & Tony Pietrondi, Raymond & Rick Porrello, Sue Shimooka, Nick, Michael (deceased) & Tom Capretta, Kim Fauceglia, John Adomaites and Terese Fennell. Butch was a lifelong singer and barber. His most recent barber shop, “The Barber’s Touch” was located in the BP Building in Downtown Cleveland. Butch enjoyed cutting hair, and customers came from all over for his renowned haircuts. As a singer, Butch was compared to Mario Lanza and his favorite songs to sing were “My Way” by Frank Sinatra and “Mamma” by Jerry Vale. All services are private.
