Elizabeth M. Kraft

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth Marie Kraft "Libby" (nee Manzo) on Saturday, April 17th, 2021 at the age of 69. She was born to Mike and Isabelle Manzo on August 19, 1951 in Fairmont, West Virginia.

Elizabeth was the oldest child and predeceased by her parents Mike and Isabelle (nee Kish) Manzo and her husband Danny, Sr. She is survived by her younger siblings Michelle Manzo (Robert Jeracki) and Michael Manzo, and former sister-in-law Dawn Manzo, and her children and grandchildren: her eldest son Danny Herbert (42) (Linda Kraft (37)), and their children: Hailey Elizabeth (18), Mikaela Isabelle (15), Danny Steven (11), Nathan Joshua (7), and Adalyn Rose (5); daughter Jaime Lynn Kraft (41) (Jason Wolfe (46)) her children, Michael Anthony Crystaloski (19) and Kaitlyn Marie Wolfe (10); and her youngest son Nicholas Angelo Kraft (39).

Many people are surprised to find that this little lady, full of life and joy, was struggling with the daily challenges of battling pancreatic cancer. She chose to hide her terminal illness from many as she did not want to be the focus of attention and still wanted to donate and volunteer her time. Many of her closest friends and long time co-workers had no clue that she was ill. She was selfless every day of her life. Even at the end, her wishes were for her body to be donated to a pancreatic cancer research facility in the chances that another family could benefit from advancements in treatment or a cure for this aggressive cancer. Never wanting to be the center of attention or looking for any recognition, she lived for her family and friends and would never ask for help, but would offer assistance without hesitation. Never will you meet another woman so frugal that she would not spend a penny on herself but would offer everything she had to help someone in need. We can go on forever but those that knew her understand and people that didn’t, missed knowing a true angel of a woman. Mom, you lead by example and are truly a hard act to follow.

A Celebration of Elizabeth's Life will be held at THE RIPEPI COMMUNITY CENTER, 5784 Pearl Rd. (at Snow Rd.), Sunday, August 1, 2021 from 1-3 p.m.
