Michael Settonni

MICHAEL SETTONNI, age 61, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 10, 2021. Loving father of Mario and Rocco; beloved son of the late Frank and Marie (nee Rodi) Settonni; dearest brother of Joanne Stamm (David), Frank Settonni (Ann Marie), Marian Jones (Tom) and John Settonni (Loretta); beloved uncle and dear friend of many. Michael was born on August 13, 1959 in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. He is a 1977 graduate of Midpark High School and a 1981 graduate of The Ohio State University where he obtained his degree in journalism. Michael was a former on-air television news anchor and reporter, who most recently worked for WEWS-TV in Cleveland. He has also worked for NBC, CNN, The Walt Disney Company and network affiliated television stations in Boston, San Diego and Portland.  A celebration of Michael’s life will be held at the Ripepi Community Center, 5784 Pearl Rd. (at Snow Rd.), Saturday August 7, 2021 from 3-5 p.m. with a prayer service at 3:30 p.m.
